I’ll learn French with you if you learn Mandarin with me. I can buy textbooks on Amazon and you can buy some notebooks and pens at the store. A polyglot on YouTube said it’s easier to learn a language with a partner. We can each pick three nights per week. Maybe Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, we can speak French. I know that boeuf means beef. We can make le boeuf tomorrow, with le veggies. Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, we can try Mandarin. On Sunday, we can sit in silence and stare at each other. We can blink in morse code, or write things down. Or just speak English.

I wanna learn things with you, anyways. It would matter more to me, and I’d remember more. And I want to share the world with you. Whenever I’m alone and walking around some new place, I wish that you were next to me so you could see it too. Every time I sit down at a bench or a staircase to rest my legs, I wish that you were next to me so you could rest too. I don’t want to take too much of your time up. Only what you want to give. I’ll explore where you explore, and rest where you rest too. I’m not picky, and if its new, it’s new for both of us. If you’re excited to show me a park I’ve been to a thousand times, I’ll forget it all so I can see it through your eyes.
